Winter has come at last to most of the US. With ice covering the ground (and the roads) of most cities and communities, we are less interested in global-warming and more concerned about getting to where we have to go without some kind of accident.
Even here in Montana, where ice and snow are regular parts of winter, I have to say that I’ve had my fill for the season. And We had nothing compared to the heavy ice that shut down the power in some southern and mid-western states. Even so, the roads here were very bad for a long time.
The good news is that no matter how bad a winter is, or a spring, the warmer weather is never far away. I can remember seeing ice piled up high in rivers, jamming them in January. I remember seeing terrible floods (right here in Montana!) when all the ice and snow finally gave in to warmer temps. But in days, or weeks, and sometimes months, things began to settle back into a normal routine again.
As they say, life goes on. The severe winter never stays forever.
So bundle up and do your best to get through the day. Tomorrow may be better. And the days after that will certainly offer some relief.
God’s best to all who are struggling through right now.
Jim
