<description>Thanks for your comments, Cheri. I remember facing some very difficult times as a younger believer, when I allowed myself to get twisted up in the thoughts and priorities of other mortal men. I got so tangled in the confusion that I allowed myself to forget, for a while, that God is truly and always absolutely good in all His ways. Everything He has done, as regards human beings, is for the purpose of salvation and reconciliation. Even the most severe judgments are for our good, by His grace.
I truly believe that God is fully Sovereign in all things. Nothing and no one can resist His purposes. And I also know, with all my heart, that every soul is free, by God's grace, to choose good or evil, in every way and in all circumstances. The Lord is truly glorious, and not as men often try and imagine Him to be.
May His kindness in Jesus Christ, which first drew you into fellowship with Him by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ (see 1 Corinthians 1:4-9) see you through every earthly difficulty and every challenge to your ever-growing faith. I know He will give us all the light we ever need for each step of the journey. I know this because God is always and forever faithful to all who dare to hope in Him.

<description>Thank you for your wonderful words about the doctrinal differences between us as believers. It was a comfort to read since I have been searching for the differences between fundamentalism and calvinism. Seems like I have been caught between some of the differences feeling the pain that it can separate believers in the same faith. The following statement you made put it so eloquently and truthfully.
(Well, I don’t need to worry about it. I know that much. Paul says that God’s Spirit works in different ways among the different members of the local church, just as human body parts all have differing functions — for the good of the body as a whole. And it is obvious to me that the same principle applies to the entire church, the Body of Christ that is scattered around the world.)
thanks again for those calming words. To this day after being a Christian almost ten years, I study the Bible and His Word. I believe the Bible to be the Word of God, His love letter to us. I am not sure if I am one way or the other, but it doesn't seem to matter as long as I hold all things up to what Scripture says and seeking to know God and make Him known
take care and God Bless
in Christ
