If you want to start a really interesting conversation at work or among a group of strangers, ask them how to get to heaven.

Now, I realize that in today’s society, people have many varied perceptions of eternity and life after death.  So you will have a number of folks in most groups that say they don’t believe in heaven.  Yet you may be surprised to know that even most of those people do believe in some desirable existence for human beings beyond death.

A lot of people believe that there are many roads to heaven, but it just isn’t so. Only Jesus will take you all the way home.  If you are putting your hopes in some other “road to heaven”, such as religion or good works, you need to get on the right path now.

The Lord Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”  No mere creed, ritual, memberships or good intentions will get you where you need to be when it comes to eternal life.  You need Jesus.
