Maybe you feel as though any good things you ever did or felt or wanted are forever lost.  Sometimes, when we get stuck on the wrong path, we can think and feel that way.  We assume that God is so displeased with us that He refuses to consider anything good that may have once lived in our hearts.

I suppose if God were like some of our friends He might behave like that.  But He is not against us — not ever.  It is always in God’s heart to care, to remember how we were before things went wrong.  It is always God’s desire to save us, redeem us, clean us up and get us on the right path.

God truly wants us to be complete and well and happy.  That’s why Jesus was willing to go to the cross.

Don’t allow the devil, or your own guilt, to convince you that God is unwilling to listen to your prayers.  God is waiting to hear from you.  God is ready to forgive and forget your sin.
