I have received a number of comments on a series of graphics (Abotion is Murder) I designed and uploaded to GospelGifs and Zazzle a year or so ago. Most have been so meaningless that I simply deleated them without replying. But a recent one simply stated, “So is war!!!!” And I had to let that one stand.

I have often wondered why human beings are so eager to bring destruction and death to other human beings. How can any of us really think that our own lives will be made better by harming other people? The delusion is universal, however, among every nation and society. Given the option, any group of people seem willing to profit from the death or losses of another group. And a even group that is supressed today often becomes the oppressor when given the opportunity tomorrow.

I must agree that war, by its very nature is a detestable horror. It robs many innocent children of a home, of necessary schooling, of moms and dads and siblings. It destroys peaceful communities, poisons water and air and soil, destroys, maims and cripples human beings. The only hope in any war is that some good might eventually be accomplished for all, bringing an end to the bloodshed and mindless destruction.

But at least in war, both sides have some chance, however small, of defending themselves or of pleading their case to the world. With abortion, the innocent children have no voice at all, no weapons, no safe place to which they can flee. They simply die without ever knowing what they did wrong. And there is no legal end in sight at this time. Innocent babies will continue to be legally and shamelessly murdered in all the generations to come, unless both customs and laws are changed.

You and I must speak up on the behalf of innocents. We owe unborn children that much. We must all work to bring an end to the needless and mindless ruin of human life. Otherwise, in some future time, when it seems socially convenient, a group of corrupt judges may decide that your family or mine are not really human, and then we will also be available for legal and publically-funded slaughter.
